Internship Commodity Broker

Candidate will help in the development of the sales and marketing in Europe, Asia or other part of the world depending on the language skills. The main goal will be to support the business needs and objectives of the organization by developing greater activity in the biofuels & oleo-chemical industries (customer management, commercial sales management, negotiations, operational and logistic works).

The everyday task will be to support a trader to develop activities on the biofuels and feedstock markets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Manage customer relations, contracts, sales, negotiation, delivery and product sampling
  2. Develop and set up raw materials (veg-oils, etc.) supply networks
  3. Gather current market information and develop marketing plans
  4. Identifying potential clients via research and cold-calling
  5. Establish contacts with veg-oils / biodiesel / biomass importers / exporters

Internship period from 6 to 12 months

Profile

  1. Ability to manage multiple activities to meet deadlines
  2. Strong analytical skills
  3. Commercial and outgoing, practical and goal oriented
  4. Ability to communicate effectively in English (and at least one other language) both verbally and in writing

Requirements

  • College or university degree (Agriculture or Economics related)
  • Fluent English and at least one other language
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional experience in trade/export considered a strong advantage

Feedstock / Biodiesel Broker

The role is to develop and build supply contacts with end users and suppliers globally.

Required Skills

  1. Good understanding of energy markets, experience at work within physical markets of oils or agricultural products or biofuels
  2. Ability to establish trading relationships with energy companies and suppliers of alternative fuels
  3. Creativity in feedstock sourcing
  4. Experience with freight and shipping of various commodities
  5. Fluent English and at least one other language

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Building up profitable portfolio across the biofuels / feedstock markets
  2. Matching and coordination of sales / purchases between suppliers and customers
  3. Negotiations between parties, securing the best price
  4. Developing new contacts and business activities for the company as well as maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients
  5. Assistance in the international expansion plans of the team to increase market share

Personality

  • Hands-on approach, capable of putting ideas into practice
  • Commercial and outgoing, practical and goal oriented
  • Capable of communicating on different levels, team player
  • Numerate, feeling for quantitative analysis

Glycerin & co-products Broker

Candidate will be responsible for the development of the brokerage desk of fatty acids, biomass, glycerine.

Required Skills
