Sales & Business Development, Carbon activities (offsetting / certificates)

You will take an active role in the development of relationships across partners and help build and shape the strategy for GREENEA carbon business. You will be responsible to develop new activities on the brokerage activities in the carbon business (offsetting / certificate). This role is open for applicants with different levels of experience. We seek a multifaceted professional who will identify and develop optimal revenue models, sales and distribution channels, pricing and new product development strategies.

The intern will be able to contribute to various activities:

  • Lead the initial set-up phase to establish trade execution capabilities.
  • Consulting clients on their sustainability challenges, understanding their needs and helping them develop bespoke solutions to offset their emissions and address climate transition
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions in collaboration with our sustainability and sales/account experts. To be successful in this role you should have a thorough understanding of the processes and systems and how climate action (offsetting) could be integrated.

This job was designed for you if :

  • You speak French & English
  • Experience with the carbon market or commodities
  • You can work in total autonomy
  • Sound understanding of carbon offset project methodologies, registry requirements, international governance frameworks and market developments, along with a track record of successfully delivering relevant projects.
  • Demonstrable ability in the carbon offset structuring and sales space.

Position based in Frankfurt, 10 minutes from the train station on foot

Start date: flexible

Period: 6 months

Possibility of a permanent contract at the end of the internship
